About Anita Geurink

Anita Geurink worked with her husband, Bryan Geurink, for seven years overseas as co-director of an orphanage in Africa, and now enjoys working with him in the financial services industry, where she has spent the last six years.

Anita grew up in Morenci, Michigan, and after graduating from Morenci High School, she attended Calvin University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology and criminal justice. Anita and Bryan met while they were attending Calvin University and were married soon after graduation. The couple were spiritually called to move with their three children to Lesotho, Africa, for seven years, and Anita worked as a Co-Director at Beautiful Gate Orphanage for five of those years.

While in Africa, the family adopted two more precious children and then returned to Michigan in 2018. In 2023, they were blessed with the opportunity to adopt again and welcomed their new son and his wife into their family. Now living in Zeeland, Anita and Bryan have been married over 25 years and are enjoying life with their six children; four of which have already graduated high school.

Very community oriented, Anita and the family have attended Haven Christian Reformed Church for almost 20 years. She is a volunteer in the church library and also participates in a few prayer groups. In her free time, she enjoys scrapbooking, kayaking, and spending as much time with her family as possible. She spends a lot of time supporting kids in their interests, which currently involves a lot of sports for their two youngest daughters.
